I was frustrated about the fact that there did not seem to be any viable, trustworthy and gainful website for appropriate work for my freelance writing. I was just doing a Google Search on this particular subject and I happened to see Odesk.
A site where freelancers ( providers as they are called here!) can find work that they think they can handle professionally from buyers looking for freeelancers or agencies from all over the world. I find the range of work quite impressive and the work is meted out in two ways – hourly jobs and fixed rate jobs. Do note that Odesk does not take any guarantees or does not stand by you if you take up any of those fixed rate job and everything is left with the provider and buyer to suitably make contracts and abide by them.
The best thing is that it is free for providers or freelancers to list themselves. I think it is worth checking out.
